About the Role As a DeFi Trader, you will be at the forefront of ideating, developing, and maintaining GSR’s trading algorithms across a spectrum of decentralized exchanges and underlying blockchains. Develop and implement cutting-edge automated trading algorithms tailored to DeFi venues and blockchains, across a range of liquidity provisioning strategies. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to improve trading strategies and risk management techniques. Discover, test, and validate new patterns and trading signals using backtesting and performance analysis. Collaborate closely with the firm’s quantitative trading and research teams to create robust solutions for automated DeFi trading. Stay current with developments in DeFi to identify short-term trading opportunities and inform long-term strategic direction.

Your Profile

PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field. Prior experience with DeFi-focused trading strategies, either professionally or personally. Strong familiarity with DEXs, protocol mechanics, blockchain fundamentals, and smart contract security. Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills. Experience writing code to process and analyze large data sets. Proficiency in software development and engineering principles.

The Role 

As an Equity Derivatives Trader within the Ethena trading team, you will contribute to a small group that manages the operations, trading and positioning of the backing assets of USDe. This includes the movement of collateral between custodians, operating an in-house automated execution platform, and communicating with key internal stakeholders. This role is one of high trust, demanding flexibility to respond to events in a 24/7 market place. You and your team’s execution outcomes are highly visible at the core of what drives Ethena’s products.

What You’ll Do

• Portfolio Management activities that contribute to the management of USDe’s backing assets, including spot digital assets, derivatives positions, as well as deployments in DeFi money markets.
• Execute trades efficiently using in house proprietary algorithms, adhering to strict risk parameters and market conditions.
• Collaborate with your peers to ensure seamless trading coverage principally during your locations working day (US or Asia), but also when the occasion requires it, in an extended time window aligning with the Head of Trading’s needs.
• Contribute to the creation and prioritisation of features requested of engineering to supplement and mature existing tooling.
• Monitor real-time market risks (liquidity, volatility, counterparty) and adjust positions to minimise exposure.

About The Role:

The Betr team is looking for a Sports Trader with enthusiasm and passion for the sports gaming industry.  Reporting into our Head of Sports Trading, you will have a direct impact on both revenue profitability and expanding our market offerings.  You will be the person behind the odds that our users bet on, using a variety of data to formulate what Betr believes are the most accurate odds, and then managing those odds throughout their lifecycle.  This role will require scheduling flexibility and working on holidays and weekends when necessary.  You will join a new, exciting, & fast growing team looking to build innovative products!
